Who’s behind this
My name is Elvys Moya. I'm based in Austria, and part of my family lives in New York and Florida — which means I've spent years booking flights across the Atlantic and around the US, watching the same routes go up and down in price.
Flying and travel have been my passion for as long as I can remember, and over the years I've been lucky enough to see a lot of the world. But most of what I know about finding a good fare I learned the slow way: by getting it wrong, paying too much, and eventually figuring out what actually moves the price.
That's why this site exists, and why it focuses on US routes rather than trying to cover everywhere. Not to sell you a trip, but to share what I've picked up along the way. For me, travel isn't only about seeing new places. It's about seeing the world from a different angle — and the cost of the ticket shouldn't be what stops you.
What we do
We publish guides on how airfare pricing actually works: when booking windows open and close, which nearby airports are worth the extra drive, when splitting a trip into separate one-way segments beats a bundled fare. And we run a flight search that compares prices across airlines and booking sites in one place, so you don't have to open a dozen tabs to find out what a route really costs.
How we make money
We don't sell flights, and we never charge you anything. When you search here and book through one of our partners, that partner pays us a small commission. The price you pay is the same either way.
No airline or booking site can pay to appear higher in our search results or to be recommended in our guides. If a partner relationship ever affects what we write, we say so in the article.
How our guides are made
We use AI tools to help research and draft our articles. We think that's worth stating plainly rather than hiding. What AI doesn't do here is decide what we recommend: the fare data comes from our search partners, the sources we cite are real and linked, and every guide is reviewed before it goes out. If you ever find something in an article that doesn't hold up, tell us — we'd rather fix it than defend it.
Where our numbers come from
The fares in our guides are pulled from live and recently cached pricing data through our search partners, and we date every figure we publish. Airfares change constantly — a price observed last Tuesday may be gone by Friday. We label observed fares as exactly that: individual data points, not guarantees and not averages.
What we’re not
We're not a booking agency, and we can't change, cancel, or refund a reservation. Once you book, your contract is with the airline or booking site, and their terms apply. We're also a small operation, not a large newsroom — we'd rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
